Here at that girl on deck, we are an easygoing group- except when it comes to our passion and allegiance to our favorite teams and athletes!
Megan Brown founded this site in 2012 as an extension of her that girl brand with the focus centered solely upon her one & only true love: sports. From hiding from the ball every year during Little League to attending hundreds of games over the years to going hoarse from yelling at referees to playing on her sorority's softball & dodgeball teams to giving bracketology lessons over Skype to training for IU's Little 500 cycling race... well, you get the point, Megan has been living, breathing, & loving sports her entire life. This site carries the same fierceness, sass, frankness, & fun as her that girl brand does, however it is definitely a labor of love of sports fanatics from all over the country- & hopefully soon, the world!
Here at that girl on deck, we humbly (& admittedly sometimes not so humbly) present our opinions & views on the world of sports, sports pop culture, & fitness. We don't expect you to agree with us, in fact- we encourage debate & further discussion! As we are sure you know, there are plenty of blowhards on ESPN and other sports newtworks telling you what they think about the upcoming season or which players are to be honored or reviled for their on & off court antics. But we offer something that they don't: a genuine desire to hear what you have to say!
